Arno Flat Forged Drawknife - 250mm

An excellent drawknife for working green or dry wood. The 250mm long blade is great for shaping larger timbers and heavy stock removal and a useful tool for peeling bark. It is also capable of taking fine shavings. The blade is hot-forged high-carbon steel (hardened to Rc55). The cutting edge is very sharp and only requires light honing before use. A leather blade cover comes with each drawknife to protect the edge. The beech handles are permanently attached with through rivets. The classic ball shape offers a firm grip and gives great control.
