Switch between a variety of mops and compounds easily with the Axminster Woodturning Polishing Set for Twist & Fix Adaptor and Mop Arbour. The kit is supplied with 2 x stitched mops, 1 x 60 fold loose leaf, 1 x brown compound, 1 x buff compound, 1 x carnauba block. Stitched mops: stitched mops have a firm face and are useful for the first and second (if required) stages of the polishing process. 60 fold loose leaf mops: these consist of layers of cotton material left unstitched for a softer working surface. Use with the finest compounds for final polishing. Brown compound: ideal for the first polishing stages and general purpose polishing. Buff compound: Use the buff compound with the loose leaf mop for final polishing. Carnauba block: this leaves a tough and hard wearing finish. It works best when on small turned items and leaves a long lasting bright gloss finish. For best results, use a separate mop for each compound.-bg
