Made in Axminster in our own CNC manufacturing facility from high quality stainless steel. These drive centres will not rust or corrode from changes in workshop humidity or the turning of wet timber. Six prongs gives you a 50% increase in gripping power over a traditional 4-prong drive. This is a reliable and positive drive centre that transfers your lathe’s drive to the work with much improved tooth engagement. It has a 25mm diameter head, the central point projects 2mm for ease of location. With six sharp 5.5mm chisel points at 60° intervals these are highly effective for turning hard woods, softwoods and wet timber.-bg
