Convert your lathe into a polishing machine in seconds. Supplied in two parts: an Adaptor threaded to fit your lathe and a detachable 'Twist & Fix' Mop Arbor. 'Twist & Fix' by name 'Twist & Fix' by nature; one twist and the Arbor locks on the Adaptor. The Axminster Woodturning 'Twist & Fix' Adaptor screws onto the lathe’s headstock spindle. With a mop mounted on the 'Twist & Fix' Arbor it’s a simple matter of push, lock and play. The 'Twist & Fix' system is totally unique and offers virtually instant change between stitched mops, looseleaf mops or felt wheels. The 'Twist & Fix' Mop Arbor is designed to carry the Ultimate Edge mops and honing wheels. Best practice is to use a separate mop for each different grade of polishing compound. Mop arbors are available separately to allow you to have a variety of mops, felt wheels or profiling wheels, ready to attach in an instant. Mounting different mops on separate Arbors makes the polishing process quick, safe and simple. With each mop mounted on its own 'Twist & Fix' arbor you can change in an instant, ensuring the polishing process is fast and efficient. The Arbor’s shaft is 12mm. Note: Part numbers 109391, 109392 and 109538 all have locking screws for extra security. Part 109537 requires the ASR locking ring if lathe is run in reverse.-bg
