Axminster Workshop 102 Apron Plane

The Axminster Workshop 102 Apron plane is a vast improvement on the original Stanley first produced over 140 years ago. The depth of the cut is micro-adjustable using the knurled brass knob, allowing you to fine tune for removing that final whisker. The 30mm wide blade is O1 steel, for good edge retention. Our 102 is designed to fit perfectly in a woodworker’s hand. The polished brass cap fits in your palm and the circular depression for your index finger makes holding and using the plane a real pleasure. The plane’s size means you can pop it in an apron pocket so it is always at hand, when it comes to trimming a sharp edge or a bit of fine tuning for a perfect fit.
