The Bagpress MiniPress MK2 Vacuum Press has been especially developed for home, school or college use. The MK2 version features a much better European manufactured pump with a higher vacuum performance. Supplied with all equipment required to get you started, this unit will enable the keen hobby woodworker or tutor to create veneered panels, marquetry or laminations quickly and easily. By extracting the air from within the bag you create an even and massive pressure of approximately 8 tons per m3. As the air is removed from the timber's pores, the glue creates a stronger bond. Quiet running and non intrusive this unit has a self contained pump and can achieve 80% vacuum, enough for most purposes. The large capacity 800 x 1,300mm vacuum bag is supplied as standard and will accommodate many projects. This unit is ideal for marquetry, veneering and small scale laminating at home, school or college. If you are laminating with a vacuum press it is only necessary to provide a one piece former as the vacuum bag will provide an even pressure as it moulds the workpiece into the shape of the former.-bg
