This combination firmly pinches the board against the table, ensuring a smooth feed and virtually no kickback. As the board moves through and the tension on the feathers increases, the feathers lay down giving even greater surface contact holding your board securely, and reducing any movement even further. You'll get a cleaner cut with the FencePRO Featherboard, thanks to the EVA feathers, which provide ultimate infeed and outfeed control. They minimise chatter and absorb vibration, whilst allowing wood to feed easily and smoothly. The EVA feathers also protect your work, and - unlike plastic featherboards - won't mar even the softest woods. The BOW FencePRO Featherboard also protects your tools, inlcuding carbide tips. If the EVA feathers make accidental contact with your blades and cutters, they won't shatter and become dangerous. They will get cut through, and you can easily and simply replace them. The FencePRO includes two individual Fence Featherboards - these can be stacked if desired, using the 2 1/4" bolt provided. The featherboards each have 4 individual EVA feather fingers, a 4" travel slot and two ergonomic knobs for adjustment. There are different options for mounting to a T-track: T Bolts fit 1/4″ to 3/4″ T-track; use two 1 1/2″ T-bolts when used as individual Fence Featherboards, use one 2 1/4″ T-bolt when stacked. The EVA fingers are made from a high density closed cell material which is durable and won't shed or mark soft woods, and they are water jet cut for precision; they are reversible and replaceable.-bg
