Crown Revolution 12" Blade

You get much more for your money with this Crown 1/2" Revolution blade; it actually comprises the blade and six cryogenically treated cutters and an extender. You can either fit the blade into a collet handle system or make your own handle. The 12.7mm (1/2") shaft allows you to hollow to a depth of 150mm (6"). The blade includes two fully depth adjustable REV11 Super Ring cutters. The Super Ring cutter, used with the tapered brass Micro Bevel (also supplied), allows you to control the thickness of the shaving and hence how aggressive a cut you take. The Super Ring cutters ensure clean efficient wood removal at all times. The Micro Bevel deflects the shavings so they do not pass through the ring, thus avoiding clogging. The tip articulates for hollowing and the extender allows work in even harder to reach areas. The remaining four cutters, all made of cryogenically treated steel, comprise a REV12 Heart Scraper, REV13 Egg Scraper, REV19 Fat Key Cutter and REV15 Long Key Cutter.
