Antex Mini Desolder Pump

Neat and effective, the Antex Mini Desoldering pump at only 200mm long and 22mm diameter allows easier access to the joint when desoldering. Desoldering pumps use a vacuum to suck molten solder away from a joint. Used generally on a board when removing components for replacement, repair or reuse. A simple sprung loaded plunger is set, the nozzle placed by the molten solder releasing the plunge sucks the solder away. Tip: Apply a little additional solder to the joint as the flux in the new solder will help the old solder flow better and the slightly larger amount helps the solder to remain liquid.
