In order to keep the cost down, this bench comes partially finished. This gives you the opportunity to finish it to your own standards. Built using quality European beech, there is some home assembly required. There are detailed assembly instructions included, as well as glue to fix joints and sandpaper to smooth the benchtop edges. This could well be a fun and rewarding afternoon’s work, culminating in a fantastic workbench at very good price. Front/Side Vice (Length/Opening): 360 / 130mm, Dog holes 19mm, weight: 44kg. The bench top is 30mm thick with a 90mm deep apron. The working surface is 1,360 x 500mm (overall including the vices, the bench is 1,550 x 645mm). This workbench comes as bare wood; to protect the timber we recommend you use an oil finish such as Chestnut Finishing Oil or Osmo Top Oil.
