Excellent results when turning very hard woods, resins, acrylic, and other man-made materials. Considering the amount of work a turning tool is used for compared to other turning tools, theis solid carbide cutting tip is going to last an enormously long time. When the cutting tip does eventually dull, simply replace it for a new super sharp tip. More time for turning and zero time spent sharpening.
