Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C Sets

Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C is the only oil finish on today’s market which protects and enhances interior woodwork in a single coat. One coat and it’s done, stain and finish in one process, which makes Rubio Monocoat Oil a highly cost effective solution. The set includes the oil itself (part A) plus a can of accelerator (part B), which speeds up the curing time. Rubio Monocoat is a high quality, VOC free, environmentally friendly wood finish. It enhances and protects, giving a long lasting and hard wearing finish on interior floors and furniture. Durability and protection in one single coat is achieved by the oil bonding on a molecular level with the cellulose fibres in the wood. It is very easy to use and maintain and can be applied on all types of wood. Available in a selection of standard colours, it goes on evenly, without streaks or overlaps. Coverage is 30m² to 50m² per litre depending on the wood type. Sand and remove residual dust. Apply with cloth or brush. After a few minutes the reaction between the oil and wood will be complete. Once the wood fibres have bonded with the oil, any surplus is simply wiped away. Rubio Monocoat oil doesn't contain any water or solvents and is based on linseed and other natural ingredients. This product is very safe to use and equally safe for the environment. It protects wood from water, heat and daily wear and tear. Use it for wood furniture, hardwood flooring, oak tables, just anything that is made out of wood. Note: As with any oil finish; cloths used for application need to be soaked in water before disposal to avoid the risk of spontaneous combustion.
