The MTR-X is a very precise triangle with an angle setter, that is used as a protractor or a variable angle fence for setting, laying out, calibrating tools or to aid assembly. Use on its own or attach directly to a Festool, Makita, Kreg or Milwaukee guide rail or utilise the 20mm dog holes for use on a grid system bench top. Measuring 246mm x 346mm the MTR-X is CNC-precision machined from cast aluminium with an anodised finish for durability that gives a non-marring finish. The graduations are laser engraved on both sides, making the scale easier to read even in poor light. The very precise angle setter allows you to set with a positive lock, any angles between 0-90°. There are 5 x 20mm dog holes drilled into the triangle and it is supplied with 2 dogs to allow the MTR-X to be attached to a Festool MTF or similar grid system and used as a fence. Also supplied are Edge Index Pins that can be attached to the face of the triangle as a reference shoulder, so you can use it as a square. Clamping angles are also included so that you can attach the triangle with clamps to help assemble your project. Attach to a Festool, Makita, Kreg, Milwaukee or similar guide rail supplied with the adaptor and the triangle turns into a very accurate angle guide, the low profile locking knobs mean that these do not interfere with a track saw when cutting. Calibrating tools is also another feature due to it's compact size. Ideal for tasks such as a fence squaring or setting mitre saw angles or a mitre gauge. Made in the USA and verified square with automated CMM to .001' along with full length. Supplied with: 2 x TSO Chamfer close fit dogs, guide rail connector (for Festool, Makita, Milwaukee and Kreg) 2 x M6 short index pins, 2 x M6 long index pins, 2 x 125mm clamping angles and foam systainer insert.
