Even the most carefully drilled holes can be fractionally oversized, the UJK four flute plug cutters ensure a snug fit by cutting plugs that taper in their length. The slight taper ensures a snug fit by eliminating slack, allowing you to tap the plug into place and trim any excess with a flush cut saw. Matching timber and grain direction creates an almost seamless finish, whereas contrasting timber offers a decorative look. These plug cutters feature four sharp cutting edges that produce clean, smooth-sided plugs. Made from Chrome Vanadium tool steel, they offer a long tool life. For use a drill press or drill stand. The optimum speed is 1,000 rpm for softwood and 500 rpm for hardwood, with a cutting depth of 18mm. Available in metric and imperial sizes.
