FISCH Universal HSS Twist Drill Hex Shank

FISCH 1/4" hex shank quick change metal twist drills are made to fit into hex quick-change chucks. These special short shank bits stay sharper for longer and work extremely well in a cordless drill or screwdriver. They have a twin-ground, double facet tip which produces a unique central point, improving centering accuracy and producing rounder and more precise holes. The multifacet drilling geometry eliminates the need for a prior centre punch hole and has a longer drilling life than standard geometry drill bits. They are ground from one piece giving the bit extra strength. They are perfect for drilling sheet metal and most other metals, as well as wood and some plastics.
