The set contains five hand-forged tools (a range of four gouges plus a flat chisel), all sharpened and honed ready for use, and a 12 page leaflet written by Jeremy Williams, with complete instructions and a pattern to enable the beginner to produce an attractive relief carving. The hexagonal beech wood handles prevent the tools from rolling off the bench when not in use.
