If your woodturning gouges are ground and sharpened to the correct profiles, it will make a great difference to your woodturning, making the tools easier to use. Keeping these profiles accurately maintained can be difficult, as it is very easy to lose the original shape when sharpening or regrinding. Profile Pro turning tool profiles replicate carefully selected grinds which are used by many of the leading woodturners and these can be used as a reference when shaping or sharpening your woodturning tools. If you use sharpening jigs, these profiles can be placed in the jig as an aid to the setting up process for precise grinding and sharpening. Six classic profiles are provided, Celtic/Short Bevel Bowl Gouge, Standard/Modified Bowl Gouge and Standard/Modified Spindle Gouge, size 1/2” profile (5/8” bar).-bg
