Supplied in a strong canvas tool roll, these chisels represent the high quality of Narexβs manufacturing processes. They are named in honour of Narexβs founder and combine unique materials, heat treatment and machining. The blades are forged from Cr-V steel, and cryogenically treated to a hardness of 62 HRC. Skilled grinding and polishing to a mirror finish with very thin sides, help when working in tight spots like dovetail joints. The back of the blade ground flat to a very fine tolerance. The bevel is ground to 24Β°, a little light honing is all that is required before use. The handles are Ash wood, chosen for its strength and grain pattern. These are sanded and polished by hand for maximum comfort while working. The ferrule is stainless steel and a leather washer absorbs shocks from mallet strikes. The set contains: 3mm (1/8"), 6mm (1/4"), 10mm (3/8"), 13mm (1/2"), 19mm (3/4") and 25mm (1") (approximate imperial sizing). Made in Europe by Narex.-bg
