Presented in a fitted wooden storage box, these chisels represent the high quality of Narex’s manufacturing processes. They are named in honour of Narex’s founder and combine unique materials, heat treatment and machining. The blades are forged from Cr-V steel, and cryogenically treated to a hardness of 62 HRC. Skilled grinding and polishing to a mirror finish with very thin sides, help when working in tight spots like dovetail joints. The back of the blade ground flat to a very fine tolerance. The bevel is ground to 24°, a little light honing is all that is required before use. The handles are Ash wood, chosen for its strength and grain pattern. These are sanded and polished by hand for maximum comfort while working. The ferrule is stainless steel and a leather washer absorbs shocks from mallet strikes. The set contains: 6mm (1/4"), 10mm (3/8"), 13mm (1/2"), 19mm (3/4") and 25mm (1") (approximate imperial sizing). Made in Europe by Narex.-bg
