Widely used in woodworking projects where tight fitting 2x4 lumber joints are required, this three dimensional marking tool is ideal for the woodworker, carpenter, installer, construction worker, engineer etc. The sizes perfectly match the width and thickness of 2x4 lumber, but the multi-functional design means you can accurately divide into halves for Lap Joints, thirds for Bridle Joints and quarters for Finger Joints, as well as edges for 90° and 45° cuts. In addition, the holes can be used as a guide for screw hole guide for evenly spaced marks. Compact and lightweight the clear polycarbonate is not only durable but transparent, so you can see your marks and avoid knots or defects in the wood. Clear metric scales measure up to 15cm on the longest length and the main body of the tool, from the square edge to the cut-out, is 3.1/2" wide.
