Tite-Fix Timber-Tite Torx screws are universal, heavy duty timber and landscape screws, designed for structural use for both indoor and outdoor applications. Rapidly clamping into wood, the countersunk head allows for fascia board fixing and minimal timber damage. They replace traditional cup square bolts and coachscrews for an easy, quick, secure and neater fix but hardened to give the strength of a high tensile bolt. Its Tri-Lock™ thread forms a thread in the material which expands the wood, to then relax back around the screw ensuring a tight and locked fix.The course single thread allows for fast insertion and locks firmly into the substrate ensuring once these screws are in, they stay in. Timber-Tite screws have a unique Net-Coat® green plating which resists the effects of corrosion both from the elements and from the chemicals within the timber, ensuring your fixing will last. No pilot hole is required in most cases and the screws do not split the timber. These screws have a torx recess and include a driver bit in the box. Timber-Tite has achieved DeckMark Plus Status.
