Woodcut Tools Pro-Mount Body & 1" Tool Post

The Woodcut Tools Pro Mount Body and 1” Tool Post is designed to provide stability and versatility for woodturners. Born out of the need to hold chuck mounted turned work for embellishing, this sturdy and versatile stand enables you to be handsfree whilst embellishing or adding decoration to a freshly turned workpiece. The Pro-Mount has two independent locking levers; the outer lever controls horizontal rotation, allowing you to turn the work through a full 360°. The inner handle controls vertical rotation through 360°. There is a great advantage in being able to adjust the work in one plane at a time. With the handles tightened, the workpiece will not move, even when unlocking one lever to adjust the angle of your work. The spindle has an M33 x 3.5mm thread, the same thread as the Axminster Professional, Robust and many other lathes. Allowing you to mount a woodturning chuck with the same thread onto the Pro-Mount. Woodturners can screw a freshly turned bowl directly onto the Pro-Mount for embellishment and decoration while the bowl is held in the jaws of the chuck. The Pro-Mount spindle has a hole through the centre and a 1/4" BSP thread at its base for an airline fitting. This gives the option of using a vacuum chuck as a means of work holding.
